ALICE Portal Emergency SMS

Emergency notifications can be sent to visitors and employees through the ALICE Portal. These configuration options are found under Directory Management in the Emergency SMS section. Your directory must first enable emergency SMS Notifications to access these settings.

Sending Emergency SMS Notifications

Selected By – This selection determines which groups of visitors and employees will receive notifications.

  • Location – Sends an SMS notification to employees and visitors to all ALICE Directories within this location.
  • Directory – Sends an SMS notification to employees and visitors associated with a single ALICE directory.

Visitors – These toggles filter the visitors who will receive the emergency SMS.

  • Send alerts to visitors checked in at Directories for the selected Locations

  • Include Yesterday's Visitors

Employees – This toggle filters employees who will receive this emergency SMS.

  • Send alerts to all employees assigned to Directories for the selected locations.

SMS Template – Selects a pre-assigned emergency SMS message. These templates can be configured in the Sync Integration settings.

Template Body – Preview and modify the text in the template.

Clicking SEND will bring up a confirmation window. Select SEND in the pop-up window to send the notification.
